What wattage do urban solar street lights typically use?
The power specifications for urban solar street lights are determined by the national standard CJJ45-2015 “Urban Road Lighting Design Standard,” varying based on road type and lighting requirements. Below are the power ranges for solar street lights on common road types:

Main roads: Typically 110-160 watts. For example, a 10-meter pole height requires 150-160 watts with Hezong Alliance 3030 module lights, or 110-120 watts with 5050 module lights.

Secondary Arterials: Recommended 70-120 watts. Specific luminaire power depends on road width and mounting configuration, calculated via DIALux simulation.
Primary Commercial District Roads: Also use 70-120 watts.
High-Traffic Mixed-Use Roads: 50-70 watts.
Medium-Traffic Mixed-Use Roads: 25-50 watts.
Low-traffic mixed-use roads: 20-25 watts.
Urban parking lots: Power range 20-120 watts based on traffic volume; pole height can be flexibly selected.
Parking lot lighting requirements differ from commercial mixed-use roads; specific power ratings follow national standards. For complex scenarios like intersections, solar streetlights may prove uneconomical due to high illuminance demands.
